Healesville House

Healesville has a 5.5 kW solar PV system linked to 15kw/h of battery storage to assist in powering a horizontal ground loop system connected to a ground source heat pump. The system is full geothermal and operates the AC and hot water system of the home, including under-timber-floor hydronic heating and ducted air conditioning. Both hot water and hydronic system for underfloor heating operate utilising 2 x thermal energy storage tanks for efficient and responsive operation.

The cold winters in Healesville are catered for comfortably by the ground loop array comprising 10 trenches of 25m each.
