Monash University Woodside Building for Technology & Design
Early 2019, DEA was contracted under a design & construct contract with Lend Lease to install ‘energy piles’ utilising geothermal heat in the 20m piles being installed as foundation piles for the Campus building.
The system will be used as a testing facility for geothermal HVAC services in multi level buildings on campus as well as testing for impact on piling concrete and structures.
